Professional ADHD Services for Children

Child ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a common neurodevelopmental condition that affects children and young individuals. At Blue Ribbon Allied Health Services, we recognise the specific challenges faced by children with ADHD and the impact they can have on their daily lives. Our specialised Children’s ADHD Services are designed to provide comprehensive and compassionate support to children experiencing ADHD symptoms.

Empowering Children with ADHD

ADHD is characterised by inattention, overactivity, and impulsivity symptoms, leading to difficulties in academic performance, social interactions, and emotional well-being. Children with ADHD may struggle to focus on, complete tasks, or follow instructions, leading to frustration and low self-esteem. Our experts are dedicated to understanding each child’s needs and developing personalised intervention plans to help them thrive.

Types of Child ADHD

ADHD can present in various subtypes, each with its challenges. The following are the most common types of ADHD:

Inattentive Type (ADHD-I)

Children with ADHD-I may have difficulty sustaining attention, comfortably talking, organising tasks, and following through on instructions or activities.

Hyperactive-Impulsive Type (ADHD-HI)

Children with ADHD-HI may be excessively restless, fidgety, and have difficulty waiting for turns. They may also act impulsively without thinking about the consequences.

Combined Type (ADHD-C)

It is the most prevalent subtype, where children experience a combination of inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms.
